KTM unveiled its SX-E 5 mini electric dirt bike at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan today. The all-new model is based on the brand’s popular two-stroke 50 SX model with the goal of “creating an ultra-competitive machine that is also easy to ride, even for pure beginners.”
According to KTM, the SX-E 5 boasts zero emissions, a low amount of noise, and minimal maintenance. It features an adjustable seat height to better suit the young rider as he or she grows. The KTM PowerPack is able to provide up to more than two hours of riding for a beginner and 25 minutes for faster young riders. A full recharge takes approximately one hour with its external worldwide charger. The SX-E 5 will be available in North American dealerships in fall 2019.
