On Day 1 of X-Games 17, Jacko landed the first front flip in competition to bring home gold in best trick. Strong has been practicing this trick for months and all his hard work has finally paid off. For his second run, Jacko threw a huge kiss of death knowing he had a good shot at gold with his first trick. When it was all said and done, he found himself on the top step of the podium with his first ever XGames medal.
Jacko was rocking the new 2012 MSR/MM Maimed gear in route to his victory. In addition to Strong, Taka put in a great effort in best trick to come up just short of getting the bronze medal. MSR is excited to be apart of the Metal Mulisha, as they continue to dominate the freestyle world.
Look for our other riders in the days to come at X-Games as we will have Deegan and Faisst competing in Speed and style on Saturday. Keep up to date on all the action by following us on twitter. www.twitter.com/msrmx
