Ducati Confirms Desmo450 MX Release & Availability Timelines

When Ducati’s first production dirt bike will be unveiled and available for consumer purchase.

Following Ducati’s declaration that it would begin producing off-road motorcycles, the Italian manufacturer showed a prototype version of its first dirt bike, the Desmo450 MX, being ridden and tested prior to its Italian Prestige Motocross Championship and FIM Motocross World Championship debuts last year. Having formed an alliance with Troy Lee Designs to create an AMA Supercross race team, which has a prototype Desmo450 MX on display at select rounds of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has confirmed a timeline for its 450cc motocross bike’s release and when it will be available for purchase.

Ducati states the production Desmo450 MX will be unveiled on April 3, 2025, on an episode of Ducati World Première. It’s slated to arrive in select European dealerships in June 2025 and the United States in July 2025, and the rest of the world after that. Suggested retail price for the United States market has yet to be announced, but Ducati confirmed the Desmo450 MX will cost 11,245 pounds in the United Kingdom, which equates to $14,562 at time of writing. Now we wait three weeks to see it.
