GasGas reduced its full-size motocross bike and cross-country motorcycle lineups by three apiece for 2026. The enduro range has been decreased by only two models with the EC 250 and EC 450F eliminated in the United States. This leaves the EC 300 as GasGas’ sole standard-model headlight-equipped off-road-only dirt bike for MY26.
The fun Austrian brand didn’t pump the brakes on changes though, as it gave the EC 300 several. Perhaps the most noticeable are black rims—a departure from the silver units employed on all standard-model full-size dirt bikes since 2021. Wrapped around them are Dunlop Geomax AT82 tires instead of the Dunlop Geomax MX33 front and Dunlop Geomax AT81 rear rubber employed since 2023 (and Geomax AT81 front and rear in 2021 and 2022).
Settings in the WP Xplor 48mm open-cartridge coil-spring fork and WP Xact shock have been revised for improved comfort and traction. An updated fuel line protection cap and rerouted wiring harness are said to improve reliability. Additional MY26 revisions are a black gripper seat cover, black handlebar, new handlebar pad, and fresh graphics.
The 2026 GasGas EC 300 will land in dealerships this month (September 2025) for a suggested retail price that has yet to have been announced at time of this writing.
