2026 Honda Cross-Country Motorcycles First Look

What’s in store for the red off-road competition dirt bike duo from Japan for 2026?

Honda has been in the cross-country motorcycle game since 2017 when it introduced the CRF450RX. That was the same year the CRF450R motocrosser was all new, and both models were completely revamped in 2021 and 2025. The CRF450RX’s smaller-displacement sibling, the CRF250RX hit the market in 2019 and was fully overhauled in 2022, as was the CRF250R motocross model, and both quarter-liter thumpers saw some major chassis and suspension changes last year.

Following such a Herculean effort going through its CRF-R and CRF-RX models with a fine-tooth comb to improve their performance in 2025, Big Red has decided to leave its cross-country model duo as is for this year. The 2026 CRF250RX and CRF250RX are identical to their 2025 model counterparts (graphics included), and prices are the same as 2025 too—$8699 and $9999, respectively. Full spec sheets for both of these MY26 closed-course competition dirt bikes from Honda are below.
