Kawasaki’s KX models have been around for 50 years, and to commemorate it hitting the half-century mark, the Japanese manufacturer has released two full-size motocross bikes with retro livery. The KX250 50th Anniversary Edition and KX450 50th Anniversary Edition are mechanically identical to the KX250 and KX450, respectively. Appearance-wise, they’re intended to spark nostalgia and tug at the heartstrings of motocross enthusiasts across the globe.
Differences in appearance lie in silver rims, a blue seat cover, white fork guards, retro radiator shroud graphics, and a Uni-Trak swingarm sticker. Kawasaki’s 50th Anniversary Edition motocrossers retail for $300 more than their standard-model counterparts, and will land on dealership floors in fall 2023.
