KTM Reflects on Past Successes and Sets Sights on the Future

Austrian motorcycle manufacturer says it’s here to stay in 2025 and beyond.

It’s no secret that KTM is facing financial trouble, which the company made public in late November 2024. Despite this, it’s determined to succeed in navigating a shifting economic landscape. The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer says it remains fully committed to delivering exceptional experiences and products to current and future customers.

During the 2024 calendar year, KTM fielded professional riders across the globe and amassed 1,480 race starts that resulted in 246 podiums, 150 wins, and 11 titles across various disciplines. On the consumer, media, and trade show sides of business, the brand unveiled 59 new models, hosted three international press launches with 152 publications in attendance, pulled off three customer events with 283 participants, and returned to EICMA (the world’s largest motorcycle show) with an approximately 17,600 square-foot booth showcasing 17 new products.

KTM says it’s applying this same forward-thinking approach during its restructuring phase. The Austrian concern’s goal over the next 90 days is to stabilize its business while setting the foundation for sustained growth and success. Throughout this period, KTM states it guarantees the continuation of motorcycles being delivered through its authorized dealer network, and the same goes for spare parts, technical accessories, customer service support, and warranties (which are said to remain unchanged).

Heading into next year, KTM is preparing to launch some highly anticipated models that are scheduled to land in dealer showrooms in the first quarter of 2025. The orange brigade pledges to remain one of Europe’s leading motorcycle manufacturers this upcoming year and well into the future.
