In 2019, Suzuki’s RM-Z250 was given a host of updates. For starters, the engine featured a new cylinder head, intake camshaft profile, throttle body, and exhaust system. In the suspension department, Suzuki ditched the previous model’s KYB PSF2 48mm air fork for a coil-spring unit, and spec’d a new KYB shock. Chassis-wise, the Japanese manufacturer developed a new aluminum frame with a 10 percent increase in torsional rigidity, and added a redesigned subframe and lighter swingarm. Among other changes, Suzuki also wrapped its 250F motocross bike with new bodywork.
