Used 150cc Two-Stroke Enduro Bikes To Buy in 2025

Second-smallest-displacement full-size headlight-equipped off-road-only pre-owned dirt bikes.

A step above 125cc two-strokes on the enduro bike displacement spectrum are 150cc models of the same engine type. Of the three motorcycles in this category, two are the smallest engine size in their brands’ respective lineups while the one other is second-smallest. With only a trio of options in this segment and many riders opting for 250cc or 300cc models if they’re choosing a two-stroke enduro, there aren’t an abundance of used headlight-equipped 150cc two-strokes for sale but there are some to be found, and we wrote this article to help those looking to buy such a model know more about them.

KTM 150 XC-W

The only 150cc two-stroke enduro model without linkage is the KTM 150 XC-W.KTM

KTM’s replacement for its 200 XC-W was the 150 XC-W, which made its first appearance in 2017. It was carbureted that year and in 2018 and 2019 before switching to transfer port injection (TPI) in 2020. The Austrian manufacturer then moved its smallest-displacement enduro to throttle body injection (TBI) in 2024. The 150 XC-W has always been built around a double-cradle chromoly steel frame and utilized a WP Xplor PDS (Progressive Damping System) shock—the latter of which indicates it doesn’t have linkage.

Husqvarna TE 150

The only Austrian-built 150cc two-stroke enduro with linkage is Husqvarna’s TE 150.Husqvarna

Another 150cc two-stroke enduro that saw the light of day in 2017 is Husqvarna’s TE 150. This model has followed a similar development trajectory to KTM’s 150 XC-W, and the TE 150’s biggest difference from the orange machine components-wise is through its use of shock linkage. One of the many similarities the TE 150 shares with the 150 XC-W is that front suspension components have changed through its lifetime though, as Husqvarna employed a WP Xplor 48mm open-cartridge coil-spring fork from 2017–2023 and moved to a WP Xact 48mm closed-cartridge coil-spring unit in 2024, which has been in place since.

TM EN 144 ES Fi 2T

The EN 144 ES Fi 2T is TM’s second-smallest-displacement enduro, just above its EN 125 ES Fi 2T.TM

In addition to being the lone model in this segment from Italy, the EN 144 ES Fi 2T is rarest of the trio being that TM is a boutique motorcycle manufacturer that produces dirt bikes in relatively small quantities compared to other makers. The EN 144 ES Fi 2T is also the only 150cc two-stroke enduro with an aluminum frame, KYB Air-Oil Separate (AOS) 48mm closed-cartridge coil-spring fork, Nissin rear brake caliper, 270mm front and 240mm rear brake disc sizes, and Maxxis Maxxcross MX-ST tires.
