Spy Guy Unveils BBR's New CRF150R Aluminum Frame - Dirt Rider Magazine

My time hiding in the aluminum scrap pile at the BBR factory finally paid off when I got this shot of the all new CRF150R aluminum frame kit. I knew these guys would be up to something like this, and after enduring countless pieces of hot aluminum tossed onto me my hunch has paid off.I've been hit on the head with 6061 aluminum before, and that's definitely what the BBR boys are using on this hot (from where I'm sitting!) new frame. They've been putting hours on the computer designing this thing to have increased lateral stiffness over the stock Honda frame to give the kit bike better tracking and cornering. They've even designed new radiators to lower the bike's center of gravity.Here are a few more details about the kit I picked up along with the bumps on my head -

I'm hearing them taking orders already, even though the frame isn't available yet - but it will be soon! They're calling this kit the "Aluminum Perimeter Frame Kit, CRF150R 2007, Item #: 350-BBR-1012" and it sounds like the waiting list is growing - and that's without even determining the price yet (though I know it will be right in line with other BBR aluminum frames).You can reach BBR direct at (888) 668-6227.
