KTM Old School White Plastics Kit - Feature Review - Dirt Rider Magazine

Usually I don't like to discover these industry secrets in plain sight for the entire world to see. No, I'd rather sneak through the bush, hide in a closet or two and, when no one's looking, jump out like the prize-fighting paparazzi and grab an incriminating photo or two. So when I walked by Shane Watt's pits at a recent GNCC and found this white KTM sun-bathing in the sweet southern glow, my adventurous enthusiasm was considerably muffed.
After collecting myself and realizing I'm not as sneaky as once believed, I poked around and found out some info on this retro KTM look.It seems the white plastic is available now from KTM Hard Equipment through its dealers. It is new (although not nearly as secret as I'd like) and PG's Bart Hayes had it in advance of everyone else because he's special. Not special like that; special like he's got the hook up straight from Austria (insert "G'day mate shrimp on the barbie" Jim Carey quote here). Seems he had it stateside early because he's a show off and he likes to boast during Bike Week (he was also pumping up his new accompanying graphic kit).
You can get white with your orange bike through KTM Hard Equipment dealers (prices below). And if you want the complete look, hit up Powersports Grafx for the matching graphics ($199 for the gripz line at www.powersportgrafx.com).Shrouds: $29.50 ea
