With just a handful of modifications, Honda’s flagship 250cc four-stroke motocrosser is ready for off-road competition. The 2025 CRF250RX from Honda receives the same updates to its close relative, the CRF250R, including the chassis, suspension, and engine updates for improved stability, comfort, and power delivery. The RX also receives its own specialized settings that make it a race-ready weapon that can take on varying off-road terrain beyond the motocross track. Slightly softer suspension, an 18-inch rear wheel, a kickstand, and larger fuel tank are among the distinctions you’ll notice in Honda’s off-road race weapon, along with an off-road-tuned ECU for smoother, less abrupt power, as well as hand guards.
For 2025, the CRF250RX receives an updated frame, new subframe mounting point, and new linkage that has been updated to a one-piece structure. The fork features new springs, and kit-fork-inspired Bending Control Valves while a redesigned airbox, revised ECU maps, and revised exhaust aim to improve power performance across a wider range of conditions.
The 2025 Honda CRF250RX is available in classic Honda red for $8,699.
