Overview

For those yearning to take the potent, lightweight excitement of a 150cc two-stroke beyond the track, KTM offers the 2025 150 XC-W. Tuned and fortified for enduro riding, the XC-W is equipped with a wide-ratio transmission and the power adjusted for a wider delivery across the rpm range. Skid plate, hand guards, headlight, and a kickstand further distinguish the 150 XC-W from its 150 SX counterpart while a new look, including bodywork and a new orange gripper seat, update it for 2025.

You might notice a price hike between the KTM 150 SX and the XC-W—to the tune of $1,750. Indeed, the W is a pricey little gem at $10,199, and that is due in part to its onboard technology. Not only does the 150 XC-W feature the Keihin EFI throttle body injection (TBI system, same as the other 125 and 150 two-strokes), but the XC-W is equipped with an oil-injection system, meaning lubrication is electronically metered rather than having to be premixed with the fuel. The dash carries a compact trail computer with a clock and speedometer and a warning lamp for when oil levels are low. The XC-W also receives the WP Xplor PDS shock, meaning the shock attaches to the swingarm directly rather than to a linkage system and uses damping with a rising rate to control the rear wheel. The 48mm WP Xact closed-cartridge fork is equipped with a coil spring rather than the pneumatic spring in the air fork of the 150 SX.

Brembo brake and clutch hydraulics, suspension that can be adjusted without tools, a quick-release headlight, and a specialized triple clamp are among the fancy bits and bobs that make the KTM 150 XC-W a premium choice for enduro riding.
