After signing a two-year contract with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing prior to the 2022 AMA Supercross season, Aaron Plessinger and the Austrian concern have agreed to continue their working relationship for another year. The 27-year-old will compete aboard the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition in the 2024 AMA Supercross series, 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, and 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX).
“I just want to give a shoutout to all the fans who have supported me throughout the year and an even bigger shoutout to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing for believing in me,” Plessinger said. “We’re onto another year!”
Despite missing three rounds, Plessinger finished seventh in the 450SX standings, claimed two podium results, and nearly won his first main event in the premier class. He’s currently ranked third in 450MX points and sits second in the combined SMX rankings.
