GasGas to Enter Prototype Electric Trials Bike in Competition

TXE’s debut will be made at first round of 2024 Spanish Trial Championship.

GasGas has declared it will showcase an electric trials motorcycle in competition this weekend. After several years of development, the prototype TXE model will be ridden by Norwegian pilot Sondre Haga at the opening round of the 2024 Spanish Trial Championship in Arteixo, Spain.

GasGas has spent several years developing its first electric trials motorcycle called the TXE.GasGas

A former FIM Trial2 World Champion and current GasGas Factory Racing rider, Haga is aiming to achieve a good result, but his main focus is to help develop the electric-powered rock-hopping bike and provide feedback to engineers as they continue to refine it. GasGas hasn’t released any information regarding when the TXE might be put into production as of this time.
