The Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series celebrates 50 years of racing in 2024, and its producer Racer Productions has announced its schedule. In addition to returning to 13 rounds, the majority of which are familiar venues, the championship will visit a new location in the form of The Old Gray in Monterey, Tennessee. Also, Powerline Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio, finds its way back onto the schedule after being absent from it since 2018.
“The 2024 season is looking to deliver great opportunities for exceptional racing at all the usual favorites, plus a couple additions,” GNCC trail boss Jeff Russell said. “The Old Gray in Tennessee may prove to be a challenge to racers as it will end up being a little more on the old-school side with some technical areas. Additionally, many racers enjoyed racing at Powerline Park, and after taking a few years off, it’s great to make a return there in 2024.”
