Husqvarna has announced details about the updates made to its 2021 motocross and cross-country motorcycles. The entire Husqvarna TC, FC, TX, and FX lineup features a new mid-valve damping system in the WP Xact air fork that is intended to provide improved damping and consistent suspension performance. Another suspension change is that the WP Xact shock features new low-friction linkage seals for a refined suspension response and advanced damping characteristics. The seat cover on all of the bikes has a new texture that is designed to provide exceptional comfort and control in all conditions as well. The eight models are also adorned with new electric yellow and dark blue graphics.
The TC and FC motocross bikes have some updates that are exclusive to those five models including 10mm-shorter fork cartridges and outer tubes that are said to offer refined rigidity for improved rider comfort. It’s interesting and worthwhile to note that a look at the spec sheets compared to last year’s motocross models shows that the fork travel and seat height on the 2021 machines have both been decreased by 10mm (0.4 inch) as well. This means the claimed seat height for the 2021 Husqvarna TC 125, TC 250, FC 250, FC 350, and FC 450 is 37 inches, and that the fork and shock travel are equal at 300mm (11.8 inches). Lastly, the two-stroke motocrossers, the TC 125 and TC 250, have a new roller-actuated throttle assembly that is designed to provide smoother throttle motion and improved durability.
