2023 Yamaha Motocross Bikes First Look

Among the bLU cRU’s MX lineup this year, the all-new YZ450F hogs the limelight.

Yamaha is the final of the big seven off-road motorcycle manufacturers to release its 2023 motocross bikes, with the YZ450F stealing the show thanks to a complete overhaul. We’ll have a separate article detailing all of the changes made to the bLU cRU’s flagship motocrosser, but the main points to note are that it boasts a fully redesigned engine, an all-new chassis, slimmer bodywork, updated suspension components, and is said to weigh 5 pounds less than the outgoing model.

The YZ450F in Team Yamaha Blue will be available in November 2022 and the YZ450F Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Edition will be available in October 2022. The other six models in the Tuning Fork brand’s motocross lineup are unchanged mechanically for 2023, but they do have new radiator shroud graphics.
