How Much Power Does the 2025 Beta 200 RR X-Pro Make?

Dyno testing Beta’s standard-model 190cc two-stroke enduro for horsepower and torque.

There aren’t many motorcycle manufacturers that offer 190–200cc two-stroke dirt bikes—just Beta and Rieju. In the case of Beta, it has two models in the form of the 200 RR X-Pro and 200 RR Race. When it comes to engines, both are quite similar. They’re powered by a carbureted liquid-cooled two-stroke 190cc single-cylinder mill. The main difference between them in terms of powerplant is the 200 RR X-Pro is equipped with an electronic oil injection system while the 200 RR Race requires premix fuel.

We’ve only had two 190cc two-strokes from Beta on our in-house dyno in years prior with the 200 RR Race Edition in 2022 and 200 RR last year. Perhaps third time is indeed the charm, because the 2025 version of Beta’s 200 RR X-Pro cranks out more maximum horsepower and torque than both of them with 33.4 hp and 20.5 lb.-ft. of torque. Compared to its smaller-displacement 125 RR X-Pro sibling, the 200 RR X-Pro is good for an extra 2.0 hp and 5.3 lb.-ft. of torque at peak.

Long live 200 two-stroke dirt bikes!
