How Much Power Does the 2025 Beta 300 Xtrainer Make?

Dyno testing Beta’s larger-displacement entry-level enduro motorcycle for horsepower and torque.

Beta added a second model to its Xtrainer (pronounced “cross trainer”) lineup for 2025 in the form of the 250 Xtrainer, which joins the 300 Xtrainer that’s been around since 2015. According to Beta USA, the 250 Xtrainer likely won’t make it to the United States this year and offered us the 300 Xtrainer instead.

The last time we swung a leg over Italy’s entry-level enduro motorcycle was in 2023, and its liquid-cooled two-stroke 292cc engine hasn’t changed since the year before that. It continues to be equipped with oil injection for convenience (i.e., not needing to premix fuel) and a Keihin PWK 36mm carburetor for the sake of simplicity.

Even though the 300 Xtrainer hasn’t seen an engine update since 2022 and we’ve dyno’d in since then, we mounted a Dunlop D404 street tire on the 2025 model’s rear wheel to confirm how much horsepower and torque it churns out on the Dirt Rider dyno. In conducting several pulls, we documented peak figures of 31.5 hp and 22.7 lb.-ft. of torque.
