The smallest-displacement four-stroke model in Beta’s up-spec off-road motorcycle lineup is the 350 RR Race Edition. The heart of this Italian machine is a fuel-injected liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke 349cc single-cylinder mill that produces peak figures of 38.7 hp and 24.9 lb.-ft. of torque at the rear wheel, according to Dirt Rider’s in-house Dynojet 250i dynamometer.
“The 350 RR Race Edition engine produces smooth and linear power, making riding in low-traction conditions easy,” test rider Allan Brown said. “It’s counterbalanced and runs very smoothly at low rpm. It may not be as powerful as some 350cc four-stroke competitors, but makes up for that in rideability.”
