How Much Power Does the 2025 Husqvarna TC 150 Make?

Dyno testing Husqvarna’s 144cc two-stroke MX bike for horsepower and torque.

Husqvarna isn’t a motorcycle manufacturer that’s hesitant to add exciting new models to its vast lineup of dirt bikes, and the Austrian brand did just that in 2025 with the TC 150. This small-displacement premix-burning motocross bike shares the same 54.5mm stroke as the TC 125, and achieves its extra 19cc of displacement via a 4mm larger bore.

As is the case with all Dirt Rider testbikes, the TC 150 took its turn on our in-house dyno, where its fuel-injected liquid-cooled two-stroke 144cc single-cylinder engine sent 36.2 hp and 17.1 lb.-ft. of torque to the rear wheel. For comparison, that’s 3.0 hp and 1.0 lb.-ft. of torque more than the 2024 KTM 125 SX, and 4.2 hp and 1.8 lb.-ft. of torque less than the 2025 Husqvarna FC 250, which cranks out the most peak horsepower and torque of all standard-model 250cc four-stroke motocross bikes.
