How Much Power Does the 2025 Husqvarna TC 250 Heritage Make?

Dyno testing Husqvarna’s 250cc two-stroke motocross bike for horsepower and torque.

Husqvarna’s full-size two-stroke motocross bikes have been equipped with electronic fuel injection (EFI) since 2023, and the lineup grows by one in 2025 with the addition of the TC 150.

Something else that’s new for 2025 is all four of the premix-burning full-size TC models are available in a Heritage trim, which don a white frame, blue radiator shrouds, a blue gripper seat cover, and retro graphics. There are no mechanical differences between Husqvarna’s regular models and those outfitted with the Heritage livery, so riders can have the retro vibe with all of the same awesome technology the Austrian brand equips its dirt bikes with.

We recently got our hands on the TC 250 Heritage and couldn’t help but wonder how this retro-looking yet modern-day 250cc two-stroke motocross bike with technology such as throttle body injection (TBI), an electronic power valve, and electric start would perform—both on the dyno and racetrack. We got our answer to the former when running it on our in-house Dynojet 250i rear-wheel dynamometer, where it cranked out peak figures of 43.0 hp and 29.6 lb.-ft. of torque. For comparison, that’s 2.6 hp more than the 2025 Husqvarna FC 250 and 3.1 lb.-ft. of torque less than the 2025 Husqvarna FC 450.
