RB Components Deluxe Tool Tray - Dirt Rider Magazine

Finding a way to keep your oils, spray bottles and common tools organized and handy at the track is a challenge. Standing upright, cans do not fit in a regular toolbox, pump bottles may leak if laid over, and that one tool you need has a way of hiding under everything else you don't. Enter the $145.99 RB Components Deluxe Tool Tray. Pockets on each side fit up to eight spray cans or bottles. The rigid, lightweight, powdercoated aluminum organizer has a rubber carrying handle, four rubber legs to keep it from sliding around, and the unit is perfectly sized for ease of portability. The top tray is predrilled for generic tools placement, and the bottom and two side trays make convenient temporary parts bins. The bottom is also made to hold one or two rolls of paper towels. I needed more versatility, so I customized one of the side trays with a piece of composite cutting board that I drilled through to hold most of the tools I usually need at the track. The tray lost its rubber legs shortly after I started using it, but otherwise it is a perfect light-duty carrier with quick access to all you need for speedy trackside work and repairs.
