Every responsible trail rider should carry tools, water, supplies, and possibly some spare parts. There are many different ways of doing this, including this one-stop-shop solution from Klim. The Nac Pak can carry 3 liters of water, has one main storage compartment, a removable tool pouch, and fleece lined smaller compartment for delicate items. We found it to be a great overall size since it is big enough to carry pretty much anything a rider would need on a day-long off-road ride, but not so big that it feels awkward or burdensome. The removable tool compartment is the coolest feature. Once unzipped you can organize all the tools you’ll need in different slots and straps. Plus, since it is independent, you can keep it in your truck or put the whole thing in a bigger or smaller backpack, depending on your riding needs.
