2013 250 MX Shootout: Husqvarna TC250R

Though Huskys have been on the off-road scene forever, moto-enthusiasts are sometimes weary of the European machines. Well, the 2013 TC250R does work well on a motocross track, just not in the same way its Japanese competitors do. No matter how you slice it, the 250 class is all about power and that is right where the Husky is flat. But, if you ride it more like a 125 two-stroke, or are new to full-size motocrossers, the TC250R could be a perfect fit. And, the handling, brakes and components get a big thumb’s up from our testers. Here, DR Editors Chris Denison, Adam Booth, and Kris Keefer delve a bit deeper into the little Husky with real-world experience and evaluation. Keep checking www.dirtrider.com for the next installment of the 250 MX Shootout Roundtables and take a look at the Suzuki RM-Z250, Kawasaki KX250F and the KTM 250 SX-F videos that are already posted.
