The KLX300 joined Kawasaki’s dual sport lineup in 2021 and received its first updates (which were to headlight, bodywork, and styling) last year, and the 2025 model is mechanically unchanged. Radiator shroud graphics are the only revision made to the KLX300 for 2025, and it’s a minuscule difference.
Heart of this small-displacement dual sport from Team Green is a fuel-injected liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke 292cc engine with four valves and a six-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are tasked to a KYB 43mm inverted fork that’s adjustable for compression damping and a KYB shock that features spring preload, compression damping, and rebound damping adjustability. A steel perimeter frame serves as the mainstay of the chassis.
The KLX300 isn’t available in Cypher Camo Gray anymore, but more than one option remains in 2025 with Lime Green and Battle Gray, both of which warrant the same retail price of $5,449—a reduction of $750 from last year’s suggested retail price of $6,199 for those colors. The 2025 Kawasaki KLX300 is available now and its full spec sheet is listed below.
