The National Enduro Promotions Group (NEPG) this week announced a tentative schedule for the 2016 Kenda AMA National Enduro Series. Next year’s nine-round series kicks off on February 7th in Sumter, South Carolina, and finishes up on October 23rd at Zink Ranch in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Right now there is a “TBA” listed for the March 20th event, but according the NEPG’s Alan Randt, that should be firmed up and announced soon.
The 2016 series looks to be extremely talent-rich with former champ Charlie Mullins making his comeback to the series after spending nearly two years rehabbing a pair of wrist injuries. Another former champ, Russell Bobbitt, should also be at full strength after having back surgery during the off-season. Throw in series regulars Andrew DeLong, Josh Strang, Nick Fahringer, Ryder Lafferty, Brad Bakken, Grant Baylor, Steward Baylor, Cory Buttrick, Jesse Groemm, defending champ Kailub Russell and newcomers Drew Higgins and Tegan Temple and you have a formidable lineup.
