Motocross Legend Jim Pomeroy dies at age 53Jim Pomeroy and his nine year old daughter Jamie were involved in a car accident Sunday, August 6, near Tampico, WA. Jim's injuries were fatal, and he died at the scene. His daughter was treated at the hospital and released.Jim Pomeroy is probably best known in the motocross community for breaking the belief that the Americans could not beat the Europeans.
