Day 4 of the championship has come to a close, check out the photos from the races

The final day of the 7th annual JS7 AMA amateur national championship began this morning at Freestone MX. Today was also a round of the WMX championship in which Kawasaki’s Hannah Hodges debuted her pro WMX career. We had such a great time watching the races at the beautiful Freestone MX facility and cannot wait to return next year, here are some images from the day.

In the early morning Jordan Jarvis took the title of the schoolgirl class going 1-1 on the week.Dirt Rider
Mika Carpenter took the overall championship in the 51cc 7-8 limited on his Cobra 50. Not far behind him was an all out brawl between Nate Hummel (228) and Manuel Dumais (72) for 2nd place. The pair battled down to the finish and almost came together several times.Dirt Rider

SuperMini racer Jarrett Frye silently had a stellar week, finishing 2nd place in SuperMini 1 and 2.Dirt Rider
Team Green Kawasaki’s Styles Robertson won two titles for the SuperMini 1 and 2 at JS7 National 2017.Dirt Rider
Hannah Hodges raced her first WMX pro race, winning the first moto but taking 2nd in the last moto. She retained the overall however.Dirt Rider
KTM’s Daxton Bennick won the second moto and overall in the 85cc 9-10 limited class. The story of the race though was Julien Beaumer. The relative unknown from Lake Havasu, AZ passing Casey Cochran and Haiden Deegan for 2nd place on his TM85. Julien’s TM wasn’t just the only 85cc at Freestone National, it was the only TM at the event.Dirt Rider
TLD KTM’s Pierce Brown did have the championship he had expected. Bad starts keep him out of title contention all week despite winning several motos. He finished 2nd in 250B Limited and 450B.Dirt Rider
Kawasaki’s Garrett Marchabanks from Coalville, UT went 2-1 for the overall in the 450B Class.Dirt Rider
Despite showing incredible speed Kawasaki’s Dilan Schwartz would find himself on the ground while leading two motos today. His best finish was 3rd in SuperMini 1.Dirt Rider
Jett Reynolds throws a celebratory whip on the last lap of the 85cc 9-12 class. Reynolds took home first place titles in the 85cc 9-12 and Mini Sr 1.Dirt Rider
Son to the world famous Troy Lee, Max made a showing this week. Max competed in several classes, his best finish was 12th overall in College Sportsman class.Dirt Rider
